WIND Appraiser Certification Program®

The WIND Certified Appraiser Program® was introduced in 2012 to enhance the professionalism and ethics of property insurance appraisers. Each year, hundreds of property insurance claims professionals complete the four-hour WIND Certified Appraiser® program taught annually at the Windstorm Insurance Conference.

WIND Umpire Certification Program®

The WIND Umpire Certification Program was introduced in 2003 and is the first curriculum devoted to training professionals who serve as umpires in property insurance appraisals. The program is a valuable tool for those wanting to further their understanding of the appraisal process.

WIND Designation Programs

The WIND Designation Program recognizes industry individuals who demonstrate professionalism and technical knowledge in the field of property and windstorm insurance claims.

WIND Fellow

The WIND Designation Program is not a certification class, but rather a distinct credential process for property and windstorm insurance claims professionals. Fellows must meet high standards and are recognized for their experience, education, ethics, and engagement in the property insurance claims industry.
