WIND Umpire Hypotheticals

Following successful completion of the workshop, you can apply to become a WIND Certified Umpire ® by following the steps below. You must attend both workshop sessions to qualify: make sure you scan in to both sessions.

1. Make sure your WIND Membership is current: https://windnetwork.wildapricot.org/Sys/Profile

2. Read and agree to comply with the ethical rules for umpires as adopted and published by WIND. You will be asked to indicate agreement in the application.

3. Complete a security/background check from one of the following:
FDLE (Florida residents only)
GoodHire
ClearChecks

You can upload your background check results with your application or email them to admin@windnetwork.com.

4. Use this link to submit your three-year application fee of $400 for the Umpire certification: https://windnetwork.wildapricot.org/event-5136341.

When all documents and payment have been submitted, your application will be reviewed. You will receive a confirmation and be listed in the Umpire Directory. We will send you a graphic badge for your use and can generate a paper certificate on request.
