Hurricane Michael Backpack Project

As many know, the panhandle in North Florida is still recovering from Hurricane Michael which occurred in October of 2018 and made landfall as a Category 5 storm.  At the 2020 WIND conference, volunteers put together 400 backpacks for the children at the Big Bend Community Care Center in Panama City.  Items included things we all take for granted – toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brushes, socks, pajamas, blankets, and art supplies.  Thanks especially to the sponsors who donated the monies to purchase these necessary items:
